Chilinh Nguyen

Scientist (Virology)

Chilinh is a virologist at GIVAX, where she leads the development of candidate vaccine viruses. She has broad expertise in virology from bench-focused molecular virology to field-based ecology studies. Prior to GIVAX, Chilinh worked as a contractor at the CDC and research scientist at Colorado State University, researching West Nile virus ecology and the development of novel control methods. She completed postdoctoral and doctoral work at CSU, working on various mosquito-borne viruses including West Nile, Zika and chikungunya viruses. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Notre Dame.
