Senior Director of Vaccine Projects
Lauren is the Senior Director of Vaccine Projects at GIVAX. In this role, she leads the advancement of GIVAX's dual rotavirus/norovirus combination vaccine candidate by driving the generation of pivotal data packages, managing external partnerships, and establishing an internal research team and facility to accelerate development. With over a decade of experience in vaccine development, Lauren combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to bring GIVAX vaccine candidates closer to clinical readiness. Prior to joining GIVAX, Lauren spent several years at Sanofi Pasteur, where she held roles spanning discovery, process development, and industrialization. She played a key role in the development of Sanofi’s SARS-CoV-2 vaccine (Vidprevtyn), contributing to process definition, technology transfer, validation, and viral safety efforts. Earlier in her career, she worked on improving seasonal flu vaccines, focusing on antigen design and manufacturing optimization. Lauren holds an M.S. in Chemical Biology from Northeastern University and a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University.
